Pytech’s long-time logistics center in Berlin will cease operations by end of 2019 Q4. Staff and services will wind down to at least 50% of current levels by the summer. Personnel will have the option to continue their roles in Baku, Dakar, or Shuozhou. No impact to current projects is anticipated.
“Berlin was Pytech’s first home in Europe and we are quite sad to see this relationship come to an end,” noted company spokesman James McConaghie. “We wish to express our deepest thanks to the German government for their support throughout the years, especially now as we work to transition our staff and their families to new postings.”
“Don’t worry,” he adds, “We’ll most certainly return as soon as conditions allow.”
